The game is available at GOG here, is the ‘Warchest’ edition which contains Allied Assault and the two expansions Spearhead and Breakthrough.
Once installed you need to copy the files from “main*” folders to install the game data and the expansions.
main – Base base
mainta – Spearhead expansion
maintt – Breakthrough expansion
Below shows the files/folders highlighted in blue which must be copied to the ‘main’ folder shown in the app.
How to stop micro stutters when playing
This will work and the game will be playable, however the ‘sound’ and ‘video’ folder contain hundreds of files, this makes copy over the files on modern Android extreamly slow. It can also cause micro-stutters in-game as each sound file is loaded to be played.
In order to fix this you should create a new ZIP file which contains the ‘sounds’ and ‘video’ folders and name it pak8.pk3.
Then copy over this new file instead of the ‘sounds’ and ‘video’ folder.
On Windows do to this, select the two folder and right click and choose “Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder”, or use AI to ask how to do it from the command line.
